SYLVANIA - The battle of Sylvania was, once again, one to remember as this time Northview beats Southview in 5 sets. The series this year had both matches go to a deciding set and the cross town rival is going in popularity.
Leading for Northview was sophomore outside hitter, Hannah Frame, with her fourth consecutive double-double with team high 25 kills, 22 digs, hitting .273. Also leading for Northview was junior opposite hitter, Molly O’Brien with 12 kills.
The highlight of the night was senior libero, Paige Beck, recorded a team high 26 digs while also recording her 1,000 career dig. Also, senior setter, Aly O’Lenic, recorded 48 assists while also dishing out her 2,000 career assist.
Northview returns home on Saturday when they host Notre Dame Academy with freshman, JV and Varsity all playing on that day. Freshman start at 10:00am.
