SYLVANIA - In the final match of the regular season, the 2020 NLL Champions from Anthony Wayne traveled to Northview. In a contest that could be re-created in 13 days in the District Final, Anthony Wayne was able to beat Northview in straight sets, 3-0.
Leading for Northview was senior defensive specialist, Morgan Brixey, who passed a stellar 2.64, led the team with 9 points with her serve with 1 ace and 5 digs. Also leading for Northview was senior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, with 26 assists and 9 digs. Offensively, Northview struggled early being led by sophomore outside hitter, Sydney Hires with 9 kills, hitting .318. Sophomore outside hitter, Kam Hunt, had 10 kills and freshman opposite hitter, Natalie Kerchevall had 7 kills.
Northview will begin the first round of the Ohio High School Athletic Association Volleyball Tournament on Monday, October 19, 2020 as they travel to Ashland High School to play Fremont Ross High School at 7:30 P.M.
