SYLVANIA - The inaugural boys volleyball season for Northview High School kicked off on Tuesday, March 12th as the Wildcats hosted the Swanton Bulldogs. Northview was victorious in their first match winning by a score of 25-10, 25-10, 25-20 to move to 1-0 on the season.
Leading for Northview was Christian Berling with 8 kills, hitting .500, while passing a 2.6. The Wildcats got 3 kills a piece from middle blockers, Bryce Behan and Nolan Smith, 2 kills from Evan Beazley, and multiple players with 1 in a total team effort. Junior setter, Dillon Ersig dished out a team-high 11 assists, and freshman libero, Gavin Smith, recorded a team-high 6 digs.
