SYLVANIA, OHIO — The Northview High School volleyball program is proud to announce that three of its exceptional athletes have been named to the prestigious American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American Watch List. Additionally, two rising stars from the program have secured spots on the AVCA Phenom List. This recognition further cements Northview High School's commitment to nurturing and showcasing remarkable talent in the world of high school volleyball.
AVCA All-American Watch List Honorees:

Jordyn Pakulski, Senior Libero: Jordyn's unparalleled skills as a libero have earned her a spot on the AVCA All-American Watch List. Her agility, impeccable reading of opponents, and ability to execute pinpoint digs make her an invaluable asset to the Northview High School volleyball team. Jordyn's leadership on and off the court serves as an inspiration to her teammates.

Claire Smith, Senior Middle Blocker: Claire's dominant presence at the net has earned her a well-deserved spot on the AVCA All-American Watch List. Her powerful blocks and versatile attacking abilities have consistently disrupted opponents' strategies. Claire's dedication and determination are exemplary, setting the bar high for her teammates.

Natalie Kerchevall, Senior Setter/Opposite: Natalie's exceptional versatility as both a setter and opposite hitter has earned her a coveted spot on the AVCA All-American Watch List. Her strategic playmaking, accurate sets, and effective attacks have been instrumental in shaping Northview High School's success on the court. Natalie's passion for the game is evident in every play she makes.

Paige LaBudda, Junior Defensive Specialist: Paige's standout performances have earned her a place on the AVCA Phenom List. As a defensive specialist, her uncanny ability to read opponents and deliver timely digs has consistently impressed coaches and spectators alike. Paige's commitment to improvement and unwavering work ethic make her a force to be reckoned with.

Talia Twigg, Sophomore Outside Hitter: Talia's early successes have earned her a spot on the AVCA Phenom List. Her powerful and well-placed attacks from the outside hitter position have been a significant asset to the team's offensive prowess. Talia's potential and determination are indicative of a bright future in the world of volleyball.
The AVCA's recognition of these outstanding athletes showcases Northview High School's dedication to fostering talent and nurturing a culture of excellence in both sportsmanship and performance. The volleyball program takes immense pride in its players' achievements and remains committed to providing them with opportunities for growth and success.

Camper Reunion Night 1 – Participants in Northview’s 2023 Volleyball camps may claim a complimentary ticket to the match. Camp participants will receive a complimentary ticket at the conclusion of camp in June and/or July to be used on this day.
Caturday Tailgate – There will be a pre-game tailgate with free food, for all volleyball families and students attending the match. The tailgate will be open from 9:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

Dig Pink Day to Support the Dig Pink Foundation. Various raffles will be available throughout the match at we fight to raise funds for breast cancer research. All fans are encouraged to wear pink as the Wildcats will be honoring breast cancer awareness.

The first 9 points of the 1st set of the Varsity match will be played in complete silence to support and solidarity with the hearing impaired community.
