Pat Sayre, a 2006 graduate of Sylvania Northview High School, enters his second season as the LadyKats Varsity basketball coach. In his first season Coach Sayre helped guide the program to an 18-7 (13-1 NLL) record, an outright Northern Lakes League championship, and a sectional title, while earning honors as the Associated Press Coach of the Year in Northwest Ohio. 

Sayre, was named the third coach in program history in June 2015 after five years of coaching at the collegiate men's level at both Goshen College and Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU). At Goshen College, Sayre assisted in guiding the team to their first ever national ranking, reaching as high as #12 in the country. 

At MVNU, Sayre helped with a 11-win improvement from his first to third seasons as an assistant coach. During that period he was heavily involved in day-to-day player development which helped result in six players being recognized as all-conference performers. 

Sayre is a 2010 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree, as well as a 2015 MVNU graduate, where he earned his Master of Business Administration with an organizational management focus. He currently is within his second year of teaching business courses within Northview High School.
