Girls Varsity VolleyballSYLVANIA - As the Cats celebrated Senior & Parents Night on the final home match of the 2025 regular season, it was a tough start for Northview as the match got underway as the offense never seemed to find their footing. As a result, Northview lost 0-3 to finish the regular season with a 13-9 overall record.Leading for the Cats was senior Talia Twigg, with a team high 15 kills, 7 digs while passing a 2.06, and recording 3 aces. The Cats also got 4 big kills on 8 attempts from sophomore middle blocker, Reese Holmes, who hit .500. Girls Varsity VolleyballFINDLAY - As Northern Lakes League play wraps up for the 2025 season, Northview traveled to Findlay for the finally NLL match of the season and it was a commanding win for the Cats in straight sets to move to 12-8 overall, 8-6 in the NLL, 4-4 in the Buckeye division.Leading for the Cats was sophomore libero, Jade Hagan, with 16 points won on serving alone, a 72.7% point scoring percentage, while recording a team-high 3 aces, passing a 2.25 and recording 8 digs. Girls Varsity VolleyballLEXINGTON, Ky. (November 9, 2022) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce the 17th annual AVCA Girls High School All-America Teams. Northview senior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt, has been named Honorable Mention All-American. Hunt is the first Northview Volleyball player to awarded this honor. In her career, she contributed some amazing stats: Matches Played - 98 Sets Played - 331 Attacking - 3003 attempts, 1293 kills, averaging 3.906 kills per set, hitting .275 with a 43% kill percentage. Kamryn was surrounded with two other exceptional nominees, Hannah Howard, senior libero from St. Ursula Academy and fellow NLL athlete, Gretchen Sigman, junior opposite hitter who were both honored as runner-ups at this event. Kamryn was accompanied at the event with her parents, Kati and Kyle, and Northview head coach, Chad Rutkowski and his husband, Kevin Lintjer.

Girls Varsity VolleyballIn the first Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association Coaches Poll and the first MaxPreps Computer Poll of the season, Northview Volleyball comes in at #8 in the Coaches Poll and #6 in the MaxPreps Computer Poll. The OHSVCA Coaches Poll is simply a coaches vote throughout the state of Ohio. There are six (6) polls through the season and they are released every Sunday evening on the OHSVCA website. The MaxPreps Computer Poll does not poll coaches, sportswriters or fans. Nor does their staff make any judgments on the merits of any individual team. Prior season history, school size and comments on message boards are not considered in the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. Girls Varsity VolleyballPERRYSBURG - The NLL Championship came down to Northview (12-1) vs. Perrysburg (11-2) for either a share of the title or an outright victory for the Wildcats on Thursday night and Perrysburg was able to secure a share of the title. This is the first NLL Championship for Northview since 2015 now 17-4 (12-2 NLL). Leading for Northview was lead offensively by junior setter, Natalie Kerchevall, with 12 kills, hitting .462 with 20 assists and 7 digs for the Cats. Girls Varsity VolleyballCOLUMBUS - For the second consecutive year, Northview junior, Kamryn Hunt, has been selected as an Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association (OHSVCA) All-Ohio Honorable Mention award winner. In 2020, Hunt was selected as third Team All-Ohio and is only the 2nd player in Northview history (Megan Baier, 1998 Third Team All-Ohio and 1999 Second Team All-Ohio) to be honored twice. When asked about her award this year, Kamryn said "we certainly have our sights set on 2022 - to win the programs first Regional Championship and to represent Northwest Ohio in the Final Four.
