SYLVANIA - In the final match of the season, Northview hosted Anthony Wayne as well we played host to Senior and Parents Night. Northview was lead this year by four seniors, McKenna Hall, Courtney Kross, Aubrey Nemire and Molly O'Brien. Northview won the match three sets to zero. Leading for Northview was senior, McKenna Hall with team high 15 kills, hitting .351, along with 7 digs and a team high 3 blocks. Also leading for Northview was junior Hannah Frame with 10 kills, hitting .318 along with 9 digs. On the defensive side of the ball, sophomore libero, Morgan Brixey led with 14 digs and senior defensive specialist Courtney Kross with 10 digs. PERRYSBURG - Final home match for Perrysburg and it was bound to be a great match, live on BCSN. Perrysburg was able to pull off a tough 3 sets to 1 victory over Northview.  Leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Tatum Lazar with 20 kills on 41 attempts with only 2 errors, hitting .439. Also leading for Northview was junior Hannah Frame with 16 kills, hitting .278 and contributing another double-double with 21 digs. Senior McKenna Hall also contributed 18 kills on the night. Sophomore libero, Morgan Brixey, had a team high 28 digs. SYLVANIA - The Crosstown Showdown has really been a great rivalry in the past few years, however, in 2018, Southview has won both match-ups against Northview, this last match going to Southview in straight sets.  Northview could never find their grove in the match, constantly playing from behind. As a team, they hit a season low .143, with only 22 kills in the three sets, and a passed a 1.89 with 43 errors.  Southview outplayed Northview to remain at the top of the NLL, tied with Perrysburg. SYLVANIA - Looking for their 14th win of the year, Northview hosted and defeated Springfield, three sets to zero in the second match-up between the two teams.  Leading for Northview was junior Hannah Frame with a team high 12 kills and 9 digs. Senior McKenna Hall had 7 kills, hitting .278 in the victory for the LadyKats. TOLEDO - With only two weeks left in the regular season, Monday night was a BCSN match-up between Whitmer and Northview. Northview was able to take care of business in straight sets, 3-0.  Leading the offense for Northview was junior middle blocker, Bri Syroka, with 9 kills on 14 attempts, hitting .500 and senior, McKenna Hall with 15 kills on 24 attempts, hitting .583 while also contributing a team high 9 digs. Sophomore setter, Clare Kwiatkowski handed our 34 assists in the victory which was dominated by the middles of Northview who contributed 24 of the teams 34 kills. NAPOLEON - As the fifteenth match of the year, Northview traveled to Napoleon in the battle of the Wildcats. Northview would win the second contest verse Napoleon in the same manner that they won the first match-up this year, three sets to zero. Leading for Northview was senior, McKenna Hall, with a double-double, team high 18 kills and a team high 11 digs. Hall was also able to hit a stellar .364. Partnering with Hall was junior, Hannah Frame, with a double-double, 14 kills, 10 digs, hitting .367. Sophomore setter, Clare Kwiatkowski dished out 38 assists and contributed 6 digs.  With the victory, Northview moves to 11-4 overall, 6-3 in Northern Lakes League play and currently sitting in 3rd place within the NLL with only 7 regular season and 5 NLL matches remaining. SYLVANIA - Looking for their 10th win of the young season, Northview hosted Fremont Ross in a Saturday non-conference match with two teams from the same district both looking to impress one another to secure post season votes from opponents. The victory came easily to Northview, three sets to zero. In front for the LadyKats, was junior, outside hitter, Tatum Lazar, with 13 kills, hitting .455. Also leading for Northview was Hannah Frame, 9 kills, hitting. 444, and McKenna Hall, 9 kills hitting .350 and contributing a team-high 9 digs. A balance offense with a balanced defense (4 players with 6 digs or more), and Northview was able to secure a great team win led by sophomore setter, Clare Kwiatkowski with 35 assists.
