MILLBURY - The third meeting of Anthony Wayne vs. Northview, this time for a District Championship, and it was Northview winning in four sets to claim their 2nd District title in 3 years, their first 20 win season in program history, and the 3rd District title in program history (1997, 2020, 2022).
Leading for Northview was senior outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with a team high 19 kills, hitting. 342, with 11 digs, and 6 aces for the Wildcats. Also leading for Northview was junior setter/opposite, Natalie Kerchevall with a triple double, 14 kills, hitting. 375, 18 assists, and 13 digs; and outside hitter, Kam Hunt, with 15 kills and 13 digs. Junior setter, Hannah Schoen, had a team high 35 assists and junior libero, Jordyn Pakulski added a team high 26 digs along with 3 aces.
