MILLBURY - District Semifinal action on Monday night in the second meeting between Fremont Ross and Northview for a spot in the District Final vs. Clay and it was a back-and-forth battle that saw Fremont Ross victorious in five sets.
Leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Talia Twigg, with a team-high 15 kills, hitting .216, and 9 digs; and Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with 10 kills, hitting .350. The Cats also picked up 8 kills and a hitting percentage of .217 from Bri Langenderfer. Alayna Sauer led the offense with 24 assists, 11 digs, and 3 aces, while the defense was led by Paige LaBudda with 22 digs and 5 aces.
