Revere Captures Lead Early To Defeat Northview LadyKats Varsity

• Northview LadyKats Varsity fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-6 loss to Revere on Saturday. Revere scored on a single by Levermann in the first inning, a single by Hujer in the first inning, and a double by Skidmore in the second inning.
• Despite the loss, Northview LadyKats Varsity did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Revere had 11 hits on the way to victory.
• Revere got things started in the first inning when Levermann singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.
• Northview LadyKats Varsity put up three runs in the third inning.  Northview LadyKats Varsityoffense in the inning was led by Jessica Leggett, Jillian Turner, and Reilly Johnson, all driving in runs in the frame.
• Levermann was in the circle for Revere. She allowed six hits and four runs over five innings, striking out two.
• Morgan Szykowny led things off on the rubber for Northview LadyKats Varsity. She lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing four hits and six runs while striking out one.  Audrey Crawfordthrew five and a third innings in relief.
• Northview LadyKats Varsity smacked one home run on the day. Leggett went deep in the third inning.
• Northview LadyKats Varsity tallied ten hits.  Sophia Koch, Jordyn Maroszek, and Leggett each had multiple hits for Northview LadyKats Varsity.  Koch went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Northview LadyKats Varsity in hits.
• Revere saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game.  Amentini and Brokloff each managed multiple hits for Revere.
