Family:

Coach Batson has two adult sons - Terrell (27) and Tremain (25) and currently resides in Sylvania with his wife Dana Batson and children Tia (7th grade at Timberstone), Tamaya (7th - Timberstone), Jana (6th - Timberstone), Jozie (2nd - Stranahan) and John IV (2 years old).

Education:

Central Catholic graduate c/o 1989

Coahoma CC in Clarksdale, Mississippi

Work:

Mr. Batson is the Achievement and Behavior Specialist at Bennett Venture Academy, a K-8 school in West Toledo.

Coaching:

Coach Batson has coached boys and girls basketball in Oregon (Clay, Fassett) and at Bennett. He has also served as the Athletic Director at Bennett and has coached football at Rogers High School and McKinley.
