SYLVANIA - The third of four tough matches to start the year for the Northview LadyKats took place on Thursday, August 25, at Northview vs. Central Catholic High School. The Irish defeated the LadyKats 25-21, 25-21, 25-20 to move Northview to 0-3 in the early season. This match, played without Northview Senior setter, Aly O'Lenic was contested by both squads from the opening point.
Northview was led by junior middle blocker, McKenna Hall who had a team high 6 kills, along with 9 digs and 3 solo blocks. Junior right side, Molly O'Brien also contributed 6 kills for the LadyKats. Leading the defense was sophomore outside hitter, Hannah Frame with 15 digs, senior libero, Paige Beck with 14 digs. Sophomore setter, Tatum Lazar dished out 15 assists.
