PEMBERVILLE - The Eastwood Eagles, currently ranked 5th in OHSAA Division 3, started out dominant from the first whistle winning in three straight sets over the LadyKats from Northview. Their experience in the front and back court afforded them the win.
Leading for the LadyKats was senior McKenna Hall and sophomore Tatum Lazar with 9 kills a piece, while Lazar added 7 digs. Senior setter, Aly O'Lenic dished out 25 assists while her team only passed a 1.42, really creating seams when available for her hitters. Senior libero, Paige Beck led the defense with 13 digs.
The LadyKats return home on Tuesday with more Northern Lakes League play against Maumee.
