SYLVANIA - As the first round of Northern Lakes League play starts to wrap up on Tuesday, it was important that the LadyKats came out and stated their case to be considered as a contender in the NLL for 2017. The Northview LadyKats were able to defeat Springfield 3-1.
Leading for Northview was junior middle blocker, McKenna Hall, with team highs in kills (18), hitting percentage (.412) and blocks (3). Also leading Northview was sophomore outside hitter, Hannah Frame, with 12 kills, 11 digs; and junior opposite Molly O'Brien with 9 kills, hitting .389. Senior setter Aly O'Lenic provided 46 assists and 6 digs, while senior libero, Paige Beck had a team high 13 digs.
The LadyKats take on Fremont Ross on Saturday in Fremont with the freshman starting at 10:00am with JV and Varsity to follow.
