SYLVANIA - The first match-up between Bowling Green and Northview was one that Northview could not forget soon enough, after losing in the fifth set 1-15. However, Tuesday night in Sylvania was time for the LadyKats to revenge that earlier loss and they did so, winning in five sets, 25-23, 25-20, 18-25, 17-25, 15-9.
Leading for Northview was sophomore outside hitter, Hannah Frame, with another double-double, 24 kills, 25 digs, passing a 2.16. Senior libero, Paige Beck, was fantastic tonight with a team high 41 digs; and senior setter Aly O'Lenic dished out 47 assists, a season high. Also contributing in the offense was sophomore outside hitter, Tatum Lazar, with 13 kills and junior opposite hitter, Molly O'Brien, with 11 kills.
The LadyKats return home on Thursday with cross town rival, Southview. JV plays at 5:00pm, with Varsity to follow around 6:30pm.
