SYLVANIA - Tonight's match-up between Bowling Green and Northview, the first Northern Lakes League match-up for both teams, came down to the deciding set, with Northview winning 3 sets to 2.
Leading for the LadyKats was senior, outside hitter, McKenna Hall with a match high 25 kills, hitting .322, and contributing 21 digs, her second double-double of the year. Also leading the offense was junior, outside hitter, Hannah Frame, with 24 kills, hitting .264, and contributing 12 digs. For the second straight match, the middle blockers, junior Bri Syroka, 4 kills and 3 blocks, and sophomore, Haley Catti, 6 kills, were the difference in the end.
Sophomore setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, dished out 54 assists and sophomore liberos, sophomore Emma Dukate, 32 digs, and sophomore, Morgan Brixey 6 digs, led the charge defensively.
Northview returns home on Thursday as they host Napoleon. Northview moves to 4-1 overall this season and 1-0 in the NLL.
