WATERVILLE - To end the first round of Northern Lakes League play, Northview traveled to Anthony Wayne in a battle of the 3rd and 4th place teams in the NLL. Anthony Wayne would prevail, 3 sets to 1.
Leading for Northview was lead by sophomore setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, who was near perfect with 38 assists, 6 digs, 2 aces and distributed an even offense. The play in the middle was near perfect as well, with middle blocker, Bri Syroka, with 6 kills, 0 errors on 16 attempts, hitting .375, and contributed 2 solo blocks. The outside hitters for Northview contributed 13 kills from Hannah Frame, hitting .270, and 12 from McKenna Hall hitting a mere .143.
Northview returns to the court on Thursday as they start the second half of league play and travel to Bowling Green. JV starts at 5:00 P.M., Varsity at 6:30 P.M.
