ASHLAND - In the first round of the OHSAA Tournament, Northview traveled to Ashland High School to play Findlay in the two teams second match-up of the year. Northview defeats the Trojans three sets to zero in convincing fashion, 25-13, 25-14, 25-10.
Leading for Northview was middle blocker, Bri Syroka, with 7 kills on 8 attempts with 0 errors, hitting .875. The LadyKats offense was equally distributed - McKenna Hall, 9 kills, hitting .368; Hannah Frame, 7 kills, hitting .294; Haley Catti, 5 kills, hitting .300; and Tatum Lazar with 4 kills, hitting .143. Northview's setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, dished out 30 assists, and libero, Morgan Brixey contributed a team high 7 digs.
