Northview Dominates Olentangy in Season Opener

OLENTANGY - In the first match of the year, the Northview LadyKats traveled to Olentangy High School to play the Braves in their third meeting in the last three years. This year, Northview was able to take care of the Braves in straight sets, 25-20, 25-17, 25-17 to move the LadyKats to 1-0.
Leading for Northview was junior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, who dished out 33 assists and senior captain, Hannah Frame, with a team high 10 kills, hitting.269, while also contributing 8 digs. On the offensive side of the ball, junior middle blocker, Haley Catti, chipped in with 7 kills and freshman outside hitter, Sydney Hires, contributed 6 kills. On the defensive side of the ball, junior libero, Emma Dukate had a team high 14 digs, opposite hitter, Tatum Lazar, had 10 digs and 5 kills.
The next match for Northview is Tuesday, at home, vs. Findlay. Freshman at 4:30 P.M., Junior Varsity at 5:30 P.M., and Varsity at 7:00 P.M. The first 100 fans will receive a 2019 Schedule Poster.
