SYLVANIA - First home Northern Lakes League home match for the LadyKats was a true test from a strong Maumee Panther team. Northview was able to fight off the late surge from the Panthers to win 3-1; 25-10, 25-17, 19-25, 25-20 to move Northview to 5-2 overall, 3-0 in the NLL.
Leading for Northview was senior opposite, Tatum Lazar, with a team-high12 kills and 9 digs. Junior defensive specialist, Morgan Brixey had a team-high 18 digs, followed by senior outside hitter, Hannah Frame with 12 digs were the force behind the defensive effort of the LadyKats. Junior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski had 27 assists along with 8 digs. Offense struggled late for the LadyKats, but were able to rely on strong passing and defense to pull off the victory.

The next match for the LadyKats is Thursday, at home, verse Springfield. JV starts at 5:00 P.M., Varsity at 6:30 P.M. All fans are asked to wear white for a white out and all club volleyball players will be allowed to enter the match for free as long as they are in a club t-shirt.
