SYLVANIA - In the first edition of the Crosstown Showdown, Northview was able to prevail over the Cougars of Southview, 3 sets to 1, with score of 25-21, 25-16, 24-26, 25-21 to move Northview to 7-3 overall, 5-0 in the Northern Lakes League.

Leading tonight for the LadyKats was senior captain, Hannah Frame with a team high 18 kills, hitting .472, and a team high 14 digs. Also leading the offense was junior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski with 41 assists, 8 digs and 5 aces. Freshman outside hitter Sydney Hires added 11 kills and senior middle blocker Bri Syroka chipped in with 8 kills hitting .667 on the match. On the defensive side, junior libero Emma Dukate and junior defensive specialist, Morgan Brixey each contributed 9 digs.
