FINDLAY - In a highly anticipated, non-conference match-up, Northview traveled to Findlay to play Liberty-Benton, the reigning 2019 Division III State Champion. In this contest, Liberty-Benton was able to hold of Northview (2-5, 2-1 NLL) winning 3 sets to 2.
Northview setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, dished out her 2,000th career assist while posting 43 assists, 10 digs, 4 kills. Leading on the offensive side of the ball for the Wildcats was sophomore outside hitter, Kam Hunt with a school record 26 kills, hitting. 174, while also chipping in 11 digs for her fourth double-double this season. Junior outside hitter, Madi Taylor also had a double-double with 10 kills and 15 digs. Freshman opposite, Natalie Kerchevall contributed with 7 kills.
Defensively, Northview was lead by senior libero, Emma Dukate with 30 digs, along with Morgan Brixey with 16 digs.
Northview returns to action on Tuesday as they travel to Anthony Wayne for a highly contested NLL match-up.
