BOWLING GREEN - In the first match-up of the season, although the start of the second round of NLL play, Northview was able to easily defeat Bowling Green in three sets.
Leading for Northview was sophomore outside hitter, Kam Hunt, with her fifth double-double of the season with a team-high 13 kills and a team-high 14 digs, hitting .229. Also leadings for the Cats was sophomore outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with 6 kills and senior middle blocker, Haley Catti, with 5 kills and team-high 3 blocks.
Defensively, Northview was lead by four players with double digit digs; Hunt (14) - senior libero, Emma Dukate (13) - senior defensive specialist, Morgan Brixey (11) and senior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski (10). Kwiatkowski also dished out 27 assists in the victory. Northview compiled 10 aces as a team.
