ASHLAND - In this big time, non-conference match-up moving into District voting, Northview was able to take care of Ashland is straight sets, 3-0. This is the LadyKats seventh victory in a row.
Northview was led by tremendous setting from their senior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, who had 25 assists, 5 aces, and 4 digs on the day. Kwiatkowski had some pretty amazing passing (1.96 rating) and defense led by senior libero Emma Dukate with 10 digs, junior Madi Taylor with 9 digs, and senior Morgan Brixey with 6 digs. Total, Northview had 38 digs on the match.
Offensively, Northview was led by sophomore outside hitter, Kam Hunt with a team-high 13 kills. Also contributing for Northview was freshman opposite, Natalie Kerchevall, with 5 kills on 10 attempts hitting .400, and sophomore outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with 4 kills, hitting .214.
