ASHLAND - In the first round of the OHSAA Tournament, Northview traveled to Ashland to play Fremont Ross in the Sectional Finals. Northview was able to remain victorious winning 3-1.
Leading for Northview was sophomore, outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt, with a team-high 21 kills, hitting .271, 15 digs, passing a 1.94, 3 blocks and 2 aces. Also leading for Northview was senior middle blocker, Haley Catti, with 13 kills, hitting .440, and 3 blocks. Senior libero, Emma Dukate had a team-high 20 digs, followed by senior defensive specialist, Morgan Brixey with 15 digs and junior outside hitter, Madi Taylor with 11 digs. Senior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski dished out 45 assists.
Northview returns to play next Monday, October 26, 2020 as they play St. Ursula Academy. For a full bracket, click here. The site of the match is TBD, but will either be at Anthony Wayne or at Northview. Game time is 7:30 P.M.
