SYLVANIA - The Wildcats prevailed over the Eagles of Avon High School in the first match of the year, winning three sets to two,?25-18, 20-25, 29-27, 23-25, 15-11 to move Northview to 1-0 overall, 0-0 NLL on the very young 2021 season.
Leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt with 25 kills, hitting .271, 14 digs, and 5 aces. Sophomore setter, Natalie Kerchevall was simply masterful dishing out 42 assists, 6 kills, and 4 digs. Also leading for the Cats was senior outside hitter, Raven Stewart with 6 kills, junior libero, Dani Wardrop with 11 digs, and senior middle blocker Izzy Irwin with a school record 8 aces in a 5 set match.

Northview returns the court on Tuesday as they travel to St. Ursula Academy - freshman start at 5:00 P.M., JV at 6:00 P.M. and Varsity at 7:30 P.M.
