BOWLING GREEN HIGH SCHOOL: 0
BOWLING GREEN - In the first Northern Lakes League match of the 2021 campaign, Northview was able to take care of the Bobcats from Bowling Green in straight sets, 3-0 moving Northview to 2-2 overall, 1-0 in the NLL as they are on the quest seeking their first league title since 2015.
Leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt, with 13 kills, hitting .320 while also contributing 6 digs. Also leading for the LadyKats was sophomore setter, Natalie Kerchevall with 5 kills hitting .400, 12 assists and 7 digs. Both middle blockers, Izzy Irwin and Claire Smith chipped in 4 kills a piece and junior libero, Dani Wardrop had a team high 4 aces as did sophomore setter, Hannah Schoen, while also providing 11 assists.
Junior Varsity was victorious 2 sets to 0. Our Freshman team suffered a tough loss losing 1-2.
Northview returns to play on Thursday as they travel to Napoleon with Freshman starting at 4:45 P.M., JV around 5:45 P.M. and Varisty around 7:00 P.M. before having an extended Labor Day weekend.
