SYLVANIA - In the first Crosstown Showdown, Northview was easily able to control the Cougars winning in straight sets, 3-0 to move to 5-3 overall and 4-0 in the Northern Lakes League. 

Leading for Northview was sophomore setter, Natalie Kerchevall, with team highs in four statistical categories - 10 kills, hitting .643, 22 assists, 9 digs and 4 aces. Also leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt with 9 kills. Middle blocker, Claire Smith, had 5 kills hitting .400 and senior opposite, Madi Taylor, had 5 kills hitting .364. Izzy Irwin, senior middle blocker, recorded 4 aces. 

The JV squad lost in a tough three sets. Freshman were able to win in 3 sets. 

Northview returns to the court on Thursday as they travel to Perrysburg. Freshman start at 4:45 P.M, JV at 5:45 P.M. and Varsity at 7:00 P.M.
