SYLVANIA - In the first match up of Anthony Wayne vs. Northview, Northview was able to be victorious in four sets, winning 3 to 1 at home. This victory moves Northview to 6-4 overall and 5-1 in the NLL, sitting in second place.
Leading for Northview was sophomore setter/opposite hitter, Natalie Kerchevall with another double-double with a team high 15 kills, hitting .211, while also chipping in 13 digs and 7 assists. Also leading for Northview was junior outside hitters, Kam Hunt and Sydney Hires with 13 and 12 kills respectively and a team high 14 digs for Hunt for another double-double. Junior libero, Dani Wardrop also had 14 digs. Sophomore setter, Hannah Schoen contributed 25 assist and sophomore middle blocker, Claire Smith had a team high 3 blocks.

Northview returns to the court tomorrow, Wednesday, as they host Springfield in a make-up match from a September 9th postponement. Freshman start at 4:45 P.M, JV at 5:45 P.M. and Varsity at 7:00 P.M.
