SYLVANIA - In the first match of the second round of NLL play, the Wildcats hosted the Bobcats of Bowling Green. In the first meeting, Northview won in three sets, and in this meeting, they were able to take care of business in 4 moving to 7-6 overall and 5-2 in the NLL.
Leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Kam Hunt, with a team high 15 kills, hitting .297, passing a 2.25, and 6 digs. Also leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with 13 kills, hitting .283, passing 2.04 and adding 12 digs and 3 aces. Northview received significant contribution from sophomores Natalie Kerchevall and Claire Smith with 6 kills a piece and Kerchevall with 10 digs. Kerchevall and sophomore setter, Hannah Schoen, both contributed 16 and 25 assists respectively. The highlight was freshman libero, Paige LaBudda with a career high 14 digs, passing 2.05.
