Generals Win Final NLL Match over Northview

WHITEHOUSE - The final match of the 2021 Northern Lakes League schedule, the Generals of Anthony Wayne were able to defeat the Northview LadyKats, three sets to two. With the loss, Northview moves to 11-10 overall and 10-4 in the NLL, finishing 2nd in the league.
Leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Sydney Hires with 14 kills, hitting .205 and junior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt wtih 11 kills and a team high 21 digs. Also providing significant contribution was sophomore setter, Natalie Kerchevall wtih 7 kills, 30 assists, and 11 digs; and sophomore middle blocker, Claire Smith, with 5 kills hitting .333 with 5 blocks. Defensively, senior Madi Taylor added 19 digs and junior libero, Dani Wardrop, provided 19 digs.
Junior Varsity and Freshman were both victorious over the Generals winning 2-1.
Northview returns to the court on Saturday as they travel to Magnificat with Freshman starting at 11:00 A.M., JV at 12:00 P.M. and Varsity at 1:30 P.M.
