MILLBURY - On Monday night, the District Semifinals featured the third match up of Anthony Wayne vs. Northview for a spot in the 2021 District Finals. Northview was victorious in straight sets, winning 3-0 to move to 13-11 overall and playing in their third District Final in four years. For a full bracket of this District, click here.
Leading for Northview was junior, outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt, with a team-high 15 kills, hitting .375 while also adding 6 digs, and 2 blocks. Northview's versatile setter/hitter, sophomore, Natalie Kerchevall, was lights out with 10 kills, hitting .389, with a team high 14 assists and team high 11 digs, recording a triple-double. Also leading defensively was junior libero, Dani Wardrop with 10 digs and winning 13 points on the serving line. Sophomore setter, Hannah Schoen, dished out 12 assists.
