MILLBURY - The 2021 District Finals was a repeat of the 2020 Semifinals; this time around St. Ursula was able to hold off the Wildcats three sets to one. Northview jumped up early winning set 1 25-22, but down the stretch, St. Ursula was too much of the LadyKats who played in their third District Final in 4 years.
Leading for Northview was sophomore setter/opposite Natalie Kerchevall, with her fourth triple-double of the season with 11 kills, hitting .226, 11 digs, and 21 assists. Also leading for Northview was junior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt, with 15 kills. Junior outside hitter, Sydney Hires chipped in 7 kills and 11 digs, and junior libero, Dani Wardrop had a team high 21 digs. Sophomore setter, Hannah Schoen dropped in 14 assists and sophomore middle blocker, Claire Smith, added 6 kills hitting .455.
Northview finishes the 2021 campaign with a record of 13-12, 10-4 in the NLL.
