WHITEHOUSE - On Tuesday, the Northern Lakes League got underway with a highly anticipated match-up of Northview vs. Anthony Wayne. Northview (3-1, 1-0 NLL) was able to sweep the Generals, three sets to zero, 25-15, 25-13, 25-20.
Leading for Northview was junior middle blocker, Claire Smith, with 5 kills on 13 attempts, hitting .308, while also contributing a team-high 4 blocks. Also, garnering 14 points on the serving line with a team-high 3 aces was senior defensive specialist, Dani Wardrop. Junior setter, Natalie Kerchevall chipped in 5 kills, hitting .300, with 17 assists and junior libero, Jordyn Pakulski had a team high 13 digs while passing a 2.45. Senior outside hitters, Kam Hunt had 13 kills with 7 digs and Sydney Hires had 4 kills and 12 digs.
