SYLVANIA - A battle of two of the top three teams in the NLL came down to a four set victory at home for Northview moving Northview to (9-3 overall, 6-1 NLL) as we start the 2nd round of NLL play on Thursday. This was an all out, full team victory for the Wildcats!
Leading for Northview, posting a double-double was junior setter, Natalie Kerchevall with 9 kills, hitting .286, a team high 26 assists and a team high 14 digs and team high 5 aces. Also leading for the Cats was senior Kamryn Hunt with a team high 22 kills, hitting .231, 8 digs, passing a 2.09 and 2 aces and senior outside hitter, Sydney Hires with 11 kills, hitting .429, 7 digs, passing a 2.11. Junior setter, Hannah Schoen provided 20 assists and 6 digs; junior Libero Jordyn Pakulski had 14 digs and 2 aces and sophomore defensive specialist, Paige LaBudda had 6 digs and 3 aces, winning 10 total points off serving alone. Junior middle blocker, Claire Smith add 7 kills, hitting .238 and 3 blocks.

Northview returns home on Thursday as they host Anthony Wayne with Freshman starting at 4:45 P.M. with JV and Varsity to follow.
