SYLVANIA - The second edition of the Crosstown Showdown was all Northview, winning in straight sets for the 2nd time this year and the 4th time in the past 2 years to move Northview to 13-3 overall and 9-1 in the NLL.
Leading for Northview was senior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt with 16 kills, hitting .448, 5 digs and 2 blocks. Also leading for the Cats was junior setter, Natalie Kerchevall, with 7 kills, 15 assists, 5 digs, 4 blocks and 2 aces; and junior middle blocker, Claire Smith with 5 kills, hitting .571, and 2 blocks. Defensively, sophomore defensive specialist, Paige LaBudda led the Cats with 8 digs, 4 aces and won 17 points off serve and senior outside hitter, Sydney Hires and junior libero, Jordyn Pakulski both with 7 digs. Junior setter, Hannah Schoen dished out 13 assists, 5 digs and won 11 points off serve with 2 aces.

Northview returns the court on Saturday as they host Central Catholic in their annual Dig Pink Match to support the Sideout Foundation. Freshman start at 10:00 A.M. with JV and Varsity to follow.
