SYLVANIA - Seeking revenge from their earlier season loss to Springfield 0-3, Northview responded to the 2nd meeting winning in straight sets, their 8th straight set victory in a row to move to 17-3 overall, 12-1 in the NLL and currently in 1st place with 1 match remaining vs. Perrysburg (11-2 NLL).
Leading tonight for Northview was senior outside hitter, Kamryn Hunt, with a team-high 17 kills, hitting .441, along with 10 digs; senior outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with 12 kills, hitting .179 with a team high 16 digs; and junior setter, Natalie Kerchevall, with 10 kills, hitting .381, with 16 assists, 9 digs, and 3 monster blocks. Northview picked up key pieces to the victory with junior, middle blocker, Claire Smith, with 4 kills on 8 attempts, hitting .500; junior libero Jordyn Pakulski with 10 digs; and junior, setter, Hannah Schoen with 19 assists and 7 digs in right back. Freshman middle blocker, Lucy Sauer, chipped in a team high 5 blocks.

With victory, Northview captures at least a share of the NLL title with 1 match remaining on Thursday at Perrysburg and can win it outright with a victory over the Jackets. This is the first title for Northview since 2015 under then head coach, Emily Jones.
