SYLVANIA - A Saturday non-conference match-up to wrap the 2022 regular season featuring #2 Magnificat vs. #12 Northview. The Blue Streaks were able to pull off the victory 3 sets to 1 and Northview finishes the season 17-5, 12-2 in the NLL - the 2022 NLL Champions and the #1 seed in the Northwest District for the OHSAA Tournament.

However, the highlight of the day was honoring our four seniors, the NVVB Class of 2023 - #6, Justice George; #8 Kamryn Hunt; #9, Carter Webster: and #11 Syndey Hires. This group, collectively, brings 12 years of varsity experience, 1 NLL title, 1 district championship, and 1 district runner-up to date with much more to come in the 2022 season. Their legacy will live on in NVVB history for years to come, not only for the mark they leave on the programs success, but for the grace, mentorship and leadership that they were able to provide daily. 

Leading for Northview today was junior setter/opposite, Natalie Kerchevall, with a team high 15 kills, hitting .241, with 8 assists, and 4 aces; and senior outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with 12 kills, hitting .233, chipping in a team high 9 digs. Also leading for the Cats was junior middle blocker, Claire Smith, with 5 kills, hitting .364, 3 blocks and 3 aces. Junior setter, Hannah Schoen, led with 28 assists.
