FREMONT - Opening night for Northern Lakes League play with Northview on the road at Fremont Ross. The Wildcats were victorious in straight sets, 3-0, moving Northview to 1-1, 1-0 NLL.
Leading for the Wildcats at senior Natalie Kerchevall with 10 kills, 9 digs, 3 aces and 3 blocks and senior outside hitter Hannah Davis with 6 kills, 13 digs, a passing rating of 2.0 and 1 ace. Also on the leaderboard for the Cats was senior middle blocker Claire Smith with 5 killing, hitting .364 and 2 blocks and sophomore middle blocker, Lucy Sauer with 3 blocks, 2 kills, hitting .333. Defensively, Northview was led by 13 digs from senior libero, Jordyn Pakulski and 7 digs from junior DS Paige LaBudda. The offense was masterfully led by senior setter Hannah Schoen with 26 assists, 7 digs.
