SYLVANIA - A big time non-conference match-up between two marquee programs to highlight a Caturday in Sylvania. Gilmour Academy was able to defeat the Wildcats in straight sets moving Northview to 8-3 overall, 6-1 NLL at the halfway point of the 2023 regular season campaign.
Leading for Northview were seniors Natalie Kerchevall with a double-double, 12 kills, hitting .258 and 14 digs; senior libber Jordyn Pakulski with 10 digs and 3 assists, and senior setter Hannah Schoen with 25 assists and 7 digs. Also leading the offense was sophomore middle blocker, Lucy Sauer with 3 kills on 4 attempts, hitting .750 while adding 1 block.

In the sub-varsity matches, Northview JV lost in 3 sets and Freshman lost in 2.
Northview returns to NLL play on Tuesday as they head to Anthony Wayne with Freshman and JV starting at 5:30 P.M. with Varsity to follow.
