FINDLAY - Northview was firing on all cylinders on Thursday night as they traveled to Findlay in an NLL Buckeye Division match and it was Northview with the victory in straight sets to move to 2-5, 1-1 NLL Buckeye Division.
Leading for the Cats was senior outside hitter, Zoe Denny, with team-high 15 kills, hitting .231, while passing a 2.11. Also leading for the Cats was sophomore middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with 11 kills on 15 attempts, hitting .600. Northview's offense received significant production from junior outside hitter, Talia Twigg, with 9 kills, hitting .333; and junior opposite, Bri Langenderfer, with 7 kills, hitting .400. Leading the high power offense was sophomore setter, Alayna Sauer, who was perfect on the night with a 40 assists, 6 digs, 2 kills, and 2 aces. Even more impressive was the Northview defense, led by senior defensive specialist, Claire Swartz, with a team-high 13 digs; senior libero, Paige LaBudda and Emily Kwiatkowski with 9 digs.

In the sub-varsity matches, Northview JV was victorious in three sets to move to 6-1 on the season. The Northview Freshman team dropped to Findlay, 0-2, to move to 3-4 on the 2024 campaign.
Northview returns to action on Caturday as they host Amherst Steele. Freshman start at 12:00 P.M. with JV and Varsity to follow.
