NOTRE DAME ACADEMY: 3.00
TOLEDO - Thursday night displayed a non-league match-up between the Notre Dame Eagles and the Northview Wildcats and it was the Eagles victorious in four sets to push Northview to 3-10, their worst start in a decade.
Leading for the Cats was senior outside hitter, Zoe Denny with 9 kills, hitting .179, and passing a 2.00 while adding 5 digs. Northview was also led by sophomore middle blocker, Frankie Ramsdell-Washington with 7 kills, hitting .333, with 3 blocks. Junior outside hitter, Tali Twigg chipped in 7 kills. Senior Paige LaBudda added a team-high 5 aces. Defensively, senior defensive specialist Claire Swartz had a team-high 10 digs.

In the sub-varsity contests, Northview freshman lost in three sets and Northview JV was victorious in a tightly contested two set match.
Northview returns to action on Saturday as they host Defiance in their annual Dig Pink Match.
