Trey Fanfulik.
Associate Head Varsity Volleyball Coach
Biography:
Year Started at Northview: 2015
A native of Hilliard, Ohio, Trey Fanfulik is entering his fifth year of coaching volleyball at Sylvania Northview High School, the 2015 Northern Lakes League Champions and 2018 District VII Runner-up. Fanfulik has been Head Junior Varsity Coach and Assistant Varsity Coach in his tenure.
As a profession, Fanfulik is an Engineer at Northern Manufacturing. In addition, he is currently a coach at Toledo Volleyball Club, and has previously coached at Premier Academy and Toledo Dynamic Volleyball Club, as well as Washington Junior High.
Prior to coaching, Fanfulik played Men’s Volleyball at Lourdes University from 2011 – 2013 and is a graduate of Hilliard Darby High School, in Hilliard Ohio, outside of Columbus.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Toledo in May 2019.
Currently, Fanfulik, 29, resides in Toledo, Ohio with his wife Stephanie and their dog Jax.
Biography:
Year Started at Northview: 2018
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Heidi Wiczynski is entering her fifth season at Sylvania Northview High School. In 2021, Wiczynski will be taking on a new role with the Northview Volleyball program as she is currently enrolled in school for her masters in nursing program over the course of the next coupe of years. In 2020, Wiczynski will lead the JV team, her previous two seasons spent leading the freshman team. In her second season with the LadyKats, Wiczynski posted a 15-7 overall record and a record of 11-3 in the Northern Lakes League (NLL). In her first season with the Wildcats, Wiczynski coached her team to a very successful season with a 17-4 overall record and a 13-1 record in the NLL, earning a league championship.
Wiczynski attended Regina Coeli Grade School where she was a multi-sport athlete winning two Diocesan Championships in both volleyball and basketball. Wiczynski went on to play both volleyball and basketball at Notre Dame Academy. In her senior volleyball season, Wiczynski was given the honor of representing NDA at the CYO fall sports banquet. Wiczynski played travel volleyball for Glass City Volleyball Club for 9 seasons while also playing 6 seasons of travel basketball for her dad, John Wiczynski, where they earned two AYBT National Championships.
After graduating from Notre Dame Academy with a 3.89 GPA, Wiczynski went on to continue her academics and volleyball career at Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. After undergoing multiple knee surgeries, Wiczynski returned home to The University of Toledo where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Occupational Therapy.
Wiczynski started coaching high school volleyball in 2012 at Start High School as the Freshman Coach. After one season at Start, Wiczynski went on to be the Freshman Coach at Whitmer High School. In 2015, Wiczynski moved up to coach at the junior varsity level while also coaching at The Toledo Volleyball Club.
Currently Wiczynski is the Patient Service Coordinator for the ProMedica Physicians Pulmonary and Sleep Group working in multiple locations, including Toledo Hospital, Flower Hospital, and Fostoria Hospital. In her spare time, coach Heidi enjoys traveling, playing in adult volleyball leagues, attending sporting events, country concerts, and any and all events at The University of Michigan.

Aubrey Nemire.
Volunteer Assistant Volleyball Coach
Biography:
A 2019 Northview graduate, Aubrey is entering her third year on the coaching staff at Northview. Aubrey played all 4 years at Northview, being apart of a district runner up team in 2018. Her first year out of high school, she picked up her first coaching job at Arbor Hills Junior High for the 7th grade team, and then was asked to be apart of the Northview Volleyball program.
Aubrey is currently a full-time student at the University of Toledo studying Exercise Science, where she hopes to become a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. Outside of school, she also works 2 part time jobs as well as coaching.

Kelsey Cortright.
Head Strength, Conditioning & Nutrition Coach
Biography:
Year started at Northview: 2021
Kelsey is a native of Jonesville, Michigan, attending North Adams-Jerome High School. After high school, she played volleyball at Albion College. While still in college, she coached for a club volleyball program in Michigan. After college, she started coaching at her alma mater, North Adams-Jerome, as a JV coach for two years.
Kelsey received her degree in health sciences, specializing in Radiation Therapy from Baker College, and is now a Radiation Therapist at the University of Toledo Dana Cancer Center. She also teaches courses for the Baker College Radiation Therapy program.
She went on to coach Varsity at North Adams-Jerome for six years. After moving to Adrian, she took a Varsity coaching position at Madison High School in Adrian and coached there for three years. Overall in her 9 years of coaching experience, she has won eight league titles and six district titles.
Having recently moved to Sylvania, she is excited to join the volleyball community and continue her love for coaching for the Wildcats.
