OREGON - On Saturday, August 26, the LadyKats traveled to Oregon to play Clay High School in their last match before starting Northern Lakes League play next week. After a very rough and rocky start, the LadyKats showed some progression in the third and fourth set, ultimately losing 10-25, 4-25, 25-14, 26-28 to the Eagles.
Northview was led by sophomore Hannah Frame with 8 kills on 23 attempts, hitting .304, while also having a team high 12 digs. Also assisting on the offense was junior middle blocker, McKenna Hall, with 7 kills, and 3 solo blocks. Freshman setter, Claire Kwiatkowski dished out 21 assists in her debut.
The LadyKats return home on Tuesday, August 29 at 6:30pm to open up NLL play vs. Anthony Wayne.
