SYLVANIA - The Battle of Sylvania was one that will be remembered for the entire season, as Southview (8-0, 3-0 NLL) defeated the Northview LadyKats in 5 sets, 25-20, 23-25, 17-25, 25-12, 15-11. Northview (1-6, 1-2 NLL) has struggled with 5 set matches going 0-4 in the fifth set this year.
Leading the LadyKats was sophomore Hannah Frame, with 16 kills, hitting .303, 20 digs, recording another double-double for the season. Also leading the offense was junior middle, McKenna Hall, with 11 kills. Senior setter, Aly O'Lenic was able to dish out 40 assists, and senior libero, Paige Beck, led the LadyKats with 24 digs total on the nights team high.
The LadyKats will return to action on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Napoleon when they take on the Wildcats in their fourth NLL match of the year.
