SYLVANIA - In the only meetings of the Crosstown Showdown for 2023, it was all Northview winning in straight sets to move to 11-7 overall, 8-4 NLL. But, the real victory of the night was for everybody involved - Project Unify between the Freshman and JV matches, the 3rd Annual Cats for Dogs event to raise awareness and funds for the Lucas County Pit Crew in which both Norhtview and Southview raised $3,386.00, and to our officials before the match for AVCA Officiating Week.
Leading for the Cats was senior Hannah Davis with 18 points won on the serving line with a team-high 4 aces and a passing rating of 1.88. Additionally, Natalie Kerchevall provided a team high 9 kills, hitting .421; Claire Smith with 7 kills, hitting. 700. The team hit a whooping .293 and 9 players recorded at least one scoring attack. Senior setter Hannah Schoen dished out 18 assists and recorded a team high 10 digs. Both Davis and senior libero, Jordyn Pakulski, added 9 digs.

In the subvarsity matches, Northview Freshman defeated Southview 2-1, and the Northview JV was victorious 2-0 to complete the program wide sweep!
The Cats return to the court on Saturday as they host Olentangy Liberty.
