SYLVANIA - Satruday night volleyball in Sylvania as the visiting Comets of Amherst Steele (7-1 overall) took on the Wildcats (1-2). Steele was able to take an initial commanding lead and, although a great challenge by Northview in the next couple of set, Steele was able to win the match 3-1.
Leading the way for Northview was sophomore outside hitter, Kam Hunt, with 19 kills and 15 digs, her first double-double as a Wildcat. Sophomore outside hitter, Sydney Hires contributed 18 kills and 13 digs, her first double-double this year, while hitting .200. Senior middle blocker, Haley Catti, chipped in 9 kills hitting .304. Senior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, chipped in 53 assists, and senior libero, Emma Dukate, had a team high 18 digs.
Northview returns to the court on Monday as they travel to Central Catholic.
