SYLVANIA - For the first time since 2015, the Northview LadyKats defeated Perrysburg winning three sets to two. In addition, it was a program sweep as the freshman and JV teams also defeated Perrysburg.
Leading for Northview was sophomore outside hitter, Kam Hunt, with a team-high 20 kills and 15 digs, hitting .200, her third double-double of the season. Also leading for Northview was senior middle blocker, Haley Catti, with 13 kills, 3 blocks, hitting .379, and sophomore outside hitter, Sydney Hires, with 11 kills hitting .205.
On the defensive side of the ball, Northview had a 86 digs total - Morgan Brixey (18), Madi Taylor (17), Emma Dukate (16), and Hunt (15). Senior setter, Clare Kwiatkowski, dished out 50 assist and had 9 digs.
Northview returns to action on Saturday as they travel to the reigning Division 3 State Champion, Liberty-Benton.
